It was a lovely day so we parked at Newlands Hause and I walked up the steep but short slope to Knott Rigg by myself. Tha walk up Knott Rigg starts steeply but soon becomes less strenuous and ends in a stretch to the summit that is little more than a walk across a field. (Wainwright #29, 1824ft) Such nice weather and views that I continued and included Ard Crags as well.
